This Privacy Policy explains how 1000 little things handles personal information when you browse the Site, use browser-based tools, contact us, or ask about a purchase made before paid features were removed.

We may receive messages you send by email and transaction metadata for purchases made while paid features were available. Bookmarks are stored locally in your browser. Photos selected for the video maker and the resulting video are processed on your device and are not uploaded by the current tool. We did not receive or store full payment-card numbers.

When you use the Site, our systems and service providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, user agent, session activity, pages visited, approximate location, referring page, and referral or campaign source. This information helps operate, secure, and understand use of the Site.

• retain records for purchases made while payments were available;
• measure traffic, referrals, and feature usage;

The bookmark feature uses browser local storage so saved cards remain available in that browser. The current Site does not create a server account or synchronize bookmarks between devices. You can remove the saved data through the bookmark controls or your browser settings.

The Site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits, referral sources, device and browser information, approximate location, and interactions with features such as card discovery and video export. Analytics is enabled only when a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured for the Site. Advertising scripts remain paused during the current advertising review period.

Analytics cookie storage is managed through Google Consent Mode. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics storage is disabled by default until the visitor's choice is processed by the consent message. In other regions, Google Analytics may use analytics cookies when the Site loads. You can control or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking local storage may prevent bookmarks from being retained.

Advertising is currently paused across the Site while it is under review. The previously used non-Google native advertising integration has been removed and is not an active vendor.

If Google AdSense advertising is enabled in the future, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this Site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalized ads based on visits to this Site and other sites on the internet. Advertising cookies may be associated with domains such as google.com, doubleclick.net, googlesyndication.com, or googleadservices.com.

Visitors can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising in the My Ad Center. They can also use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool for participating third-party vendors. Opting out of personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all ads; non-personalized or contextual ads may still appear after advertising resumes.

If advertising resumes, Google AdSense will be the primary advertising provider. Google may work with certified third-party ad networks and advertising technology providers. The current provider information and controls are available through Google's ad technology provider list. This policy will be updated before any separate advertising vendor is added.

Before personalized ads resume for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the Site will use Google's certified Consent Management Platform through AdSense Privacy & messaging. It integrates with the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework and will provide choices to consent, refuse, manage, and later revoke consent. Advertising and analytics storage will remain disabled until the required choice is available and processed.

When the certified consent message is active, visitors in applicable regions can reopen it through the privacy and cookie settings link supplied by the Google CMP. Visitors may also contact us if they cannot access or change a privacy choice.

We may share information with providers that support hosting, analytics, email, security, and requests related to past purchases. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business reorganization. We do not use the Site to sell personal information for money.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Site, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

The Site and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also manage or clear browser storage, or contact us about a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address the request.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Site or applicable requirements. The latest revision date appears at the top of the page. Material changes may also be communicated through the Site when appropriate.
